I had the absolute delight of capturing this special milestone—this little one’s 1st birthday cake smash—right in the comfort of their own home. There’s something so beautiful about photographing at-home sessions, especially for such a meaningful moment. It makes the experience all the more personal and cozy for the family, and it allowed for the baby to feel completely at ease in a familiar environment.

Despite being an indoor session, we were able to create that signature light and airy look that I love. Soft, natural light flooded the space, and we made sure to keep everything light and fresh to complement the playful, joyful spirit of a first birthday celebration. The baby was full of smiles, giggles, and, of course, curiosity as they explored their first cake!
