I had the absolute pleasure of photographing this young family at one of Brisbane’s most picturesque spots—Kangaroo Point, right by the stunning Jacaranda trees in full bloom. It’s such a fantastic location, not only because it offers sweeping views of the Brisbane River but also for its close proximity to the CBD, making it super convenient for families to access. The soft afternoon light filtering through the vibrant purple blooms made for a truly magical setting.

This session was extra special, as it was their first professional photoshoot with their adorable 4-month-old baby. There’s something so heartwarming about capturing those early moments of parenthood—the tiny details, the soft expressions, and the pure love between a family as they embrace their newest member. The calm, peaceful atmosphere of Kangaroo Point, combined with the breathtaking Jacaranda trees, set the perfect tone for these intimate and natural family portraits.
